Not sure what tool you use to edit, but if you use the Android Studio goto Layouts, Search for Settings you will get a layout something called
Fragment_setting somethign like that you will see a grid with diffrent names First Top left box choose its layout and make hide it
Note you might have two of them 1 for tv and mobile layouts.
