Note: Root is required!
Tool used: MT Manager

In this quick little tutorial I'll explain the process of manually installing HttpCanary's CA Certificates in Android 10+
Due to the certificate install restrictions added in newer versions of Android were required to do this ourselves.

And now that the developer of HttpCanary has gone AWOL (with out paid licences now useless!) it's a good time to learn
using the Modded version available -there are currently two simple but effective methods to acheiveing this and it depends
entirely on the setup you have for root.

1. Root
-- You have your device rooted by any means.
2. Magisk Root
-- You have a Magisk patched boot.img and are able to use Magisk modules.

Option 1:
This method is a bit more involved than option two as you have to manually tweak a couple of things yourself.
Step 1. Open MT Manager and navigate to /data/data/com.guoshi.httpcanary/cache
Step 2. Copy the files HttpCanary.pem and HttpCanary.p12 to a easy to access place on your device.
Step 3. Search for CA Certificate in your devices Settings.
Step 3. Select Install CA Certificate and choose HttpCanary.pem
Step 4. Select Install VPN and App user Certificate and choose HttpCanary.p12
-- Enter the password HttpCanary and do not change the name.
Step 5. repeat Step 1.
Step 6. Create a new file named HttpCanary.jks
Step 7. Make a copy of HttpCanary.pem and rename it to 87bc3517.0
Step 8. Open HttpCanary and Add as System-trusted (root) to finish.

Option 2:
This method is quick and easy.
Step 1. Download and install the Magisk module from Github
Step 2. Open HttpCanary and Add as System-trusted (root) to finish.

You should now be able to use HttpCanary to begin capturing HTTPS/TLS Traffic to and from your applications,
This is an incredibly useful tool for uncovering API information needed to create Panels and even spoof traffic to
gain access into some apps.

Thanks for reading.
- Ian.
