It will only show browser compatible channels and also channels that are LIVE, it will not show ondemand ones

I have no idea. But my webplayer in windows or android show "This video file cannot be played.(Error Code: 232011)" all the time. Although it works perfect in apple device.

Do you at any point have the url going from http to https or vice versa, You either need so SSL at all or to have SSL across all servers and streams.
