Some can control features of the application remotely, all are used to make it possible to swap out the domain used for the reseller api which in this game are volatile and often need changing, when coding this directly into the application it would be near impoasible to replace every customer application. With the remotely configured varients they dont need to change anything and the customers service domain api will be changed automatically on boot. It also provides *some* protection from snooping agents and bad actors.
Theres a few to choose from, depends on your needs. What app your wanting to use etc. Multiple rebranders resell different panels for different apps. Handful have been leaked.
